Just returned from a few days here and I honestly can't fault the hotel, it was so clean, the shower was great, very helpful and friendly staff , comfortable bed and adjustable room temperature which was awesome as we had friends staying at a 5 star hotel in Prague who couldn't sleep as their room temperature was unbearably hot! Breakfast is basic breads, cheese,, cereals, jam etc was fine for us.
The location of the hotel might be a problem for some as it's a bus or tram journey to the centre but it was 6 min walk to bus/tram stop and they're frequent.. The only thing I would suggest is maybe the hotel could stock some snacks, fruit, hot drink machine for people like us who arrived at 7pm on a Christmas day ! Nothing was open locally and we were too tired to go out to town...
Quiet and Comfortable
We spent five nights at the Hotel Marketa and enjoyed our stay immensely. Our room, though compact, had everything that we needed and was lovely and warm despite the snow outside. Friendly and knowledgable staff ensured we had a relaxing stay. Breakfast provided a lot of options and, considering the cheapness of the hotel, was especially good. Roughly ten minutes walk to the nearest tram stop. A little complicated to get to from the airport but achievable on public transport, although we did take an Uber on arrival, purely due to laziness...
Très bon rapport qualité prix
Une chambre spatieuse. Propre .
L'accueil est très courtois.
Le wifi est bon surtout le débit.
Tv dans les chambres.
Petit déjeuné offert.  Dejeuner correct pour le tarif.
Rien a redire
Nous le conseillons
A 3 km du centre-ville mais ligne de bus à proximité.
A 20 minutes de l aéroport.
nice and friendly
we have been searching for a hostel, hotel and at the end we found Hotel Marketa. The staff was friendly and helpfull, the room for 3 persons was qiute enought for us..the breakfast was also ok. noting to complain about them :D good job ;)...
helpful staff; good accomodation; breakfast sufficient, but very basic; no hotel restaurant; safe, but small and unfinished hotel parking; parking in the street problematic; quiet and safe neighbourhood; good access to public transport; altogether a pleasant stay...
Nice quiet hotel, good service.
Very quiet and cozy hotel. I stayed in a twin room, but it was actually a triple, spacious and very comfortable. Hotel staff were nice, informative and helpful. The room was very clean. Breakfast buffet is OK.¬† As it is located in a residential area in Praha 6, the access from this hotel to the city center is not so convenient, However, as there are some public bus lines are available, it was not a big problem for us. Pets are allowed with additional cost. Airport transportation is available for 20 ‚ā¨. No laundry service...
Nice staff and comforable hotel
We stayed in this hotel as a friend recommended it, it is nice little hotel in a neigbourhood about 20 minutes away from the city center. It is easy to walk to trams and buses to take you into town. The rooms are nice and clean, and the staff very friendly...
Very affordable hotel for Prague
I found Marketa online for the best price offer possible.
Do not expect nothing special as it is really basic, but if you are not for some high luxury and just want a place to rest and get some sleep - it is perfect.
The breakfast is OK, and staff is friendly.
It is a bit far from the main happenings, but by car or bus it is fairly ok.
You do not have to pay for the parking as you can always find some places nearby...
The hotel was really nice and comfortable. And people were amazing! I'm pretty sure they were reading my mind, because I didn't even have to finish my question/request when they had already made it happen. Will definitely go there again! The only minus was the distance from the city center...
We booked the hotel from hotels.com and ask double bed when we get there we had two beds. After one night i asked i if we get double bed. They were nice and  give us another room key and said that we can go and see if we want to chance the room.
Hotel was clean and staff was nice and helpfull. Breakfast was good. And it was easy to go to the city. And they had their own Shuttle service from the airport...
Lovely Weekend in Prague
We stayed 3 nights. The Hotel was clean and the staff were very polite and helpful. The rooms could be bigger but you are not there to stay in your room. It was fine for the 3 nights and the bathroom was clean. It is a 20 minute walk and tram ride to the city centre but the weather made the walk pleasant. The breakfast was good with a good selection. You do have to pay a tax on leaving the Hotel it would be better if you were told this at arrival. The only other draw back is the Hotel had no Restaurant. However, turn left outside the hotel and after 5 minutes there is a Restaurant also called Marketa. The food is excellent and the owner, Juan, was one of the funniest people I have ever met. It is worth a visit to meet him...
This was our first visit to Prague, the hotel is a little dated, but the rooms are clean and very basic.Staff were very helpful and the hotel is situated in a nice residential area.Breakfast was included, which was nice.
The hotel is a tram ride away from the main town,we walked into town a few times but it is at least 45 minute walk.Saying this we walked through the Monastry and it was such a beautiful walk, lovely park area's.
We loved Prague, and if you don't mind staying out of town,if you like to walk,if you are on a budget, then i would 100% recomend this hotel...
Very nice hotel
This was my first, but really nice trip to Prague. The hotel is small, but comfortable and staff-friendly. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The rooms were spacious, the bathrooms were clean and the location is strategic...
Good location for staying in Prague
Very good location! Close enough to all the must-see spots.
Good parking - no problem.
Breakfast could be better - scrambled eggs would be nice. But overall quite nice.
Rooms come with a nice view - at least on the 3rd floor.
Check-out was a bit confusing as when booking the room the price was higher than what was actually in the bill (turns out parking was free for the kind of room we booked)...
Nice, small and clean hotel outside city center.
Hotel Marketa is a nice hotel with 28 clean rooms in different sizes. The hotel is located in a quiet street on the westside of the city. The rooms are clean. There is a small lobby area. There are different sizes of rooms where the smallest rooms also have a smaller bed (double) and the slightly bigger rooms have a queensize bed. The hotel is at walkable distance to the tramstation Drinopol with line 22 going straight to the downtown area. The hotel is very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast buffet is available from 7.00 - 10.00 am. The price/quality ratio is very good...
Comfortable hotel for budget
Hotel Marketa has everything you would expect from a hotel at this price range, a comfortable room with all the usual amenities.
Our room was clean if not a little dusty in the corners,  bed was comfortable and we felt safe during the night.
The staff were friendly and spoke multiple languages,  there is always a receptionist on 24 hours.
Hotel is lacking in room saftey deposit  boxes but reception can lock away valuables for you.
Breakfast was a very basic continental selection that we felt lacking, but nice and fresh.
Overall good stay on a budget...
Excellent value all round
We stayed 3 nights and found the hotel perfect for our needs. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable and excellent  value. The staff were extremely helpful in particular Peter and Evita. We like walking so didn't mind being slightly outside the main centre. At least we avoided all the stag parties that arrived over the weekend. The trams are excellent and it's only a few minutes walk to the tram stop. Take thick soled shoes as  nearly all the streets in the old town are cobbled. If you can, avoid getting a taxi from the airport. Our driver took us to the wrong hotel because we had negotiated a price(500cz for the 8kilometers) and he obviously wanted more.  Prague is a wonderful city, not all the locals like tourists but the Hotel Marketa made us very welcome...
Clean and efficient
First of all, the hotel location although is in a residential area, but it is conveniently in walking distance to the tramp station and bus station. Taking the tramp for 6 to 8 stops brings you directly into the heart of action in Prague.  Close to tramp station are groceries shops that opens till midnight. The hotel itself is very clean. The rooms are small but has either 2 twins or double twins. The bathroom is small but organized very efficiently.  Our family had the top floor looking across town was interesting. I do not see if there is any A/C control in the room. The receptionists there are nice. Overall, a clean and efficient hotel...
A long weekend
Our room was not big but comfortable, clean and warm enough. The service was good, the breakfast was excellent though coffee could have been better. The hotel was just 20 minutes from the city centre by tram. We enjoyed our stay here...

Average but ok hotel.. be prepared to travel
Arrived late on a Thursday given room key, helpful receptionist gave us map and showed us how to get to the town centre.
Rooms:- basic but comfortable. Could do with a kettle or a mini bar.
Breakfast:- very basic, not much selection could be miles better.
Hotel location:- now I booked this based on some reviews and what the clueless Wally at teletext holidays told me but you are an hours walk and that isn't me exaggerating from the centre of Prague. We had to get a tram from and to the hotel everyday. So shower before dinner and popping back when needed goes out of the window. We didn't but I would strongly advise buy a 1/2/3 day travel card.
In all if you don't mind travelling and want something reasonably priced then check this out...
